Jason’s relatable and compassionate approach to restoring wellness is a reflection of his own journey through anxiety, addiction, depression, panic disorder, c-PTSD and diagnosis of ADHD and ASD.

After his burnout from a private banking career, he found that what appeared to be one-off breakdowns were feeling more like fate. A new career in international advertising, in a new location, but the same old destination with increasing severity.

Unsatisfied with the results from mainstream avenues, the cycle finally broke under the stewardship of his somatic Teacher. Over the next 5 years, what started as a cry for help would transform into a calling.

His passion for broadening accessibility to somatic-based healing, while specialising in the early social origins of disorganised states, has since established him as a highly sought-after voice around the globe.

The term ‘cultural poverty’ has been embedded in his call for action, surrounding how we make humans, how we heal humans, and what predictable ends are found when we fail to adequately achieve both.

What began as a monthly newsletter evolved into retreats in Sydney, Bali and Hamburg, attended by curious individuals who shared a commitment to personal development. Unexpectedly, the work would later become widely demanded by practitioners who refused to ignore the gap between modern training and mental health outcomes in the care industry.

He has just finished writing a book: ‘Who Brought You Here? Why Early Attachment Predicts Future Trauma and How the Body Can Save Us’ and when he is not waving the flag of body-led relief, Jason loves surfing, boxer dogs and at last count has travelled to 49 countries.
