021: how prayer and meditation rewires the brain
New week, new podcast ep.
Do we as a species have the resilience and maturity to objectively observe tools from our ancestors? That is a question that we don’t explore in this week's episode, but it may arise naturally by the end of it.
The reason is that there is some very interesting science that shows how reflection with intent can help us repair mother gaps, father gaps, emotional regulation and even addiction.
If that is so, what prevents us from implementing those tools? Debris, of course. That same debris that steals the present from us, that steals our ability to see both our own and another’s truth.
So, I invite you to look/listen/inspect the cultural thumbdrive, which represents the accumulated attempts of our ancestors to meet the natural suffering of life. Perhaps we are clay, perhaps we have always known we are clay, perhaps we have had the tools in the past to shape ourselves and our loved ones towards our highest expression, love.
