016: the mother gap - the intergenerational transmission of suboptimal care
Greetings fellow human,
New month, new book, new podcast.
The Mother Gap book was released last night, and I’ve put together the first episode of our podcast on this topic. Specifically, this week, we are examining the intergenerational cycle of suffering that perpetuates suboptimal maternal care.
Using that as our baseline, a safe harbour to compassionately view human DNA in the petri dish of our experience, we are then able to sit closer to our truth, and in doing so, reorient towards our highest expression. The opposite is an appropriate description of the cultural poverty offered to us in modern times of numbing, symptomatic diagnosing and dumping, or our own self-administered soothing.
